Homegrown PropertyLimBrothers (PLB) announces its move to become Singapore’s first media and technology-driven real estate brokerage for property sales, real estate education, and advisory services. Harnessing the power of new media, the newly established brokerage introduces a new PLB Realty arm, supported by its existing PLB Media company to expand its selection of value-added property services. This includes branding, research and analytics, on its all-in-one website launching in Q4, 2022.

Established in 2017

PLB was the first to pioneer presenter-styled home tour videos in Singapore. Fast forward to today, PLB has become a trusted household name and a powerhouse for media content-driven property sales, with more than 1,454 home tour videos and educational real estate content produced. Having sold over 516 homes in the last 24 months, PLB is now an undisputed leader in the property space.

With its new framework, PLB has reverse-engineered the property buying and selling process by ensuring every property listing is helmed by its in-house team of seven from different specialisations. This includes team members from its respective sales, insights, strategy, digital marketing and client support arms, to execute a 21-point marketing and branding campaign. Powered by its 105 full-time team strength comprising 55 full-time real estate professionals and its 50-strong in-house media production team, PLB aims to leverage new media to create creative content that realises the true value of every home.

Making Property Knowledge Accessible to All

Beyond marketing and selling homes, PLB is also democratising property knowledge for the masses by generating a slew of well-educated research materials that are easily digestible and accessible on its upcoming one-stop online portal. The new website will feature its latest Sellers and Buyers Series, in-depth investment insights, market analysis, as well as its Nuggets on the Go and Sofa So Good podcast, where key industry experts in the property space gather to discuss pertinent real estate issues. A wide selection of real estate videos, educational articles, and quarterly research reports will also be made available to the public, to keep both property buyers and sellers informed on the latest property market trends and transactions.
Meticulously curated by its in-house Research, Data Analytics, and Editorial teams – also known as InsightsbyPLB, the wide selection of educational materials will also serve to resolve inconsistencies in agent professionalism within the industry. This cuts across marketing and consultation functions that often arise from a lack of industry experience and an over-reliance on mass market tools, thus elevating the quality of agent consultations at PLB.

Shaping the Future of Property Through Technology

Looking ahead, PLB aims to further increase on-the-go accessibility to property demands, industry news and knowledge by strengthening its technological infrastructure to avail Software As A Service (SaaS) solutions and value-adding tools for its clients and agents. The team is currently working on a mobile application powered by AI technology to better assist users with property valuation, listings and more, to streamline the property buying and selling process.
With its tried and tested media technology model, PLB has seen 80% of its clients’ homes sold within the first three months of inception. In spite of the pandemic, the team has grown 221% in strength, and 150% in revenue from 2020 to 2021. To date, PLB’s videos have seen over 35.9 million views across all social media platforms, transacting an estimated 674 million dollars of property transaction value in 2021 for their clients.
